The Generic host problem has been happening because of a Windows Error. For the same we suggested a fix by running the tool above. 2. Install this Hotfix From Microsoft For Generic Host Problem Page.
After installing the HotFix, restart your computer. The Generic host problem will be solved and LAN access to the Network computers will also be restored.
